Duct section will be removed in field so as to fit complete new ducted UV lamp section into building return air HVAC system. Duct transition by others to fit existing duct. NQ in duct UV lamp system will be 36" wide x 26" high and can vary in length from 36" long to 60" long so as to fit the existing ducting arrangement. Field measurement of all clearances will be required before final fabrication of the UV insert. Lamps alone are available alone for field insertion into 36: wide or 36" high ducting ( 26" minimum opposite dimension to the 36" required).



UV Duct Unit Specification

Lamps - will be ozone blocking quartz, 34" long and will emit germicidal radiation in the 253.7 nm wavelength, each tube will output a total radiation dosage of, 120 microwatt-seconds per cm squared at 1 meter.

Enclosure - fabricated of 20 gauge galvanized steel duct material, unpainted. Two 18" x 24" x 2" thick pleated 30% ASHRAE pre-filter to keep lamps clean. Unit to be hung according to SMACNA details. No holes in casing or hanger rod/frames will be provided by NQ. ( if holes are used proper caulk should be used to avoid UVGI

Wiring - lamp sections will be pre-wired to a industry standard 4" x 4" x 2" electrical box mounted on the side opposite the access door. 115/60/1 phase.
