Duct section will be removed in field so as to fit complete new ducted UV lamp section into building return air HVAC system. Duct transitions by others to fit 18" x 12" existing duct. NQE in duct UV lamp system will be 26" wide x 12" high and can vary in length from 36" long to 48" long so as to fit the existing ducting arrangement. Field measurement of all clearances and access points will be required before final fabrication of the UV insert.



UV Duct Unit Specification

Lamps - will be ozone blocking quartz, 34" long and will emit germicidal radiation in the 253.7 nm wavelength, each tube will output a total radiation dosage of, 120 microwatt-seconds per cm squared at 1 meter. 8 lamps will output 960 micro - watts per cm squared at 1 meter which is twice the output of any competitor.

Enclosure - fabricated of 20 gauge galvanized steel duct material, unpainted. Unit to be hung according to SMACNA details. No holes in casing or hanger rod/frames will be provided by NQ.

Wiring - lamp sections will be pre-wired to a industry standard 4" x 4" x 2" electrical box mounted on the side. 8 LEDÕs remote mounted to 2x4 box will show actual UV lamp operation. LED will monitor actual UVGI lamp wattage, ballast function, and power in. Exterior switch and cord will be surface mounted. Remote LED box within 30 feet.
